Ìfẹ́olúwa Àyàndélé is from Tede, Nigeria. He is the author of My Father Paints His Dreams on My Body (Moon City Press, 2026), the winner of the 2024 Moon City Poetry Award from Missouri State University. He was awarded the 2026 Pink Poetry Prize from Great River Review at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. His poem was the runner-up for the 2026 Auburn Witness Poetry Prize Honoring Jake Adam York, selected by A. Van Jordan. He has been shortlisted for the 2025 Poetic Justice Institute Editor's Prize for BIPOC Writers, the Wisconsin Poetry Series' Brittingham & Felix Pollak Prize, and the 2024 Autumn House Rising Writer Prize in Poetry. His recent work has been published or forthcoming in African American Review, Southern Humanities Review, Poetry London, Callaloo, Magma, Transition Magazine, Great River Review, Poetry Wales, Beloit Poetry Journal, Michigan Quarterly Review, Thin Air Magazine, and The Texas Review. He is pursuing a PhD in creative writing at Florida State University. He has received a fellowship from the Obsidian Foundation (UK) and is the Assistant Interviews Editor at Southeast Review.
